This Week's Blog Find

While Christine Alexis Terminello despises those fluffy feline’s, her initials have always drawn people to dub her as “CAT”… or some version like that. To put all of her ideas, positive energy and Hokie Spirit into a project, she began writing her experiences and sharing them with friends. About a year and a half later, she found what began as an outlet turning into something more. Family and friends were actually looking at the blog and loving it! A great networking device to promote her interest’s, The Cat’s Meow hit the ground running. From her stories about promoting Orientation Leader programs at Tech, Alpha Phi’s ivy league, and keeping up with some of her best friends that are doing good in their own way in Portugal, Florida and across the globe, Christine really makes an effort to share her happy thoughts with the rest of the world. The girl never makes any apologies for who she is – I think we all have something to learn from her!

What began as hobby is now an ambition. Christine, a junior marketing management major, is determined to get her blog published one day into a book. Like many of us, she loves having written and picture records of just about every experience she's had here at Virginia Tech, but also frequently blogs about her hometown, Oak Hill, VA, her younger brother's endeavors and dance team from an alumni perspective, and of course, her friends. As a fellow Oakton grad, I admire Christine's ability to efforlessly portray her work. She is a total go getter. Something I have picked up on at nearly every college I have been to or club I have been a part of is a reluctance to try new things, or juggle things at once. Christine is a rare gem in that she understands that trying something never hurt anyone.

"So sorry to all of my blogfrogs who have been anxiously awaiting a post. As I mentioned last Friday, this week was just a LITTLE hectic. 3 exams, 1 quiz, 1 final paper...CHECK! Now I am home sweet home, and am the happiest girl in the world! Here is a quick recap of my week:"

As i said before, her ability to talk about just about anything really lets her personality shine through her blog. When I asked her if she'd like me to do a feature, she just about dropped everything to let us talk to her.

Known for her uncanny ability to dub nicknames for just about anyone she knows, she only had ONE request for my article.... a shout out to DEEBZ out in Tampa and James out in Portugal.
