Welcome to The Odyssey
Hi, my name is Anne Cunha, and I am a co-contributing editor of The Odyssey newspaper here at Virginia Tech. I am so excited to get this newspaper up and running after all of the hard work put in by our executive board and writers. I decided to join the executive committee of this newspaper as an editor simply because I really feel like we need a way to showcase the achievements of the Greek community and all of the amazing things all of our chapters contribute to the university. I am so proud of Virginia Tech and my Hokie community and would like to show the university just how much the Greek community gives back and also highlight some of the fun and exciting aspects of Greek life that many do not know about. I am so excited to see where this newspaper will go, and I am sure it will be a success on our campus. Our writer base is continually growing, and we are spreading representation throughout the entire Greek community. All of the writers and executive board have great ideas and big plans for The Odyssey here at Virginia Tech and are so appreciative of all the support we have been receiving from the local Blacksburg community as well. I am excited to get this first issue out and show everyone all the hard work we have put in this past semester and how it culminated in this great final product; one of many to come.
