Welcome Back to The Odyssey!

Stacey Marmorstein
Alpha Epsilon Phi

Whether you rang in the New Year in New York, Orlando, back at home with someone special or with family and friends, the stories are all more epic than the last. As the celebrations came to a close, we all rejoined our circle of friends in Orlando to kick off the spring semester with a bang!

We’ve set up our New Year's resolutions, set our sights on bigger and better ways to improve our relationships, and ourselves; and The Odyssey is here to help. We want to help readers achieve their resolutions! Check out our articles about New Year's resolutions to help ring in the new year the best way possible.

For all those seniors out there: this is our last semester, so let’s live it to the fullest. I don’t care what resolutions you set for yourself; we’re adding a few new ones right now. We’re going to get into the best schools, accept the best job offers, and get ready for the next stages in our lives. Whether you go overseas or across the country, I wish you the best of luck in all you do this semester and after. Good luck and Carpe Diem! Don’t let any of those last minute opportunities slip away.

For everyone else, even if you didn’t set cliché resolutions, it’s never too late to try to be the best version of yourself. It’s never too late to spend your time serving others. Spend a few hours a week volunteering somewhere. Tell the people you care about how much you love them. Treat the ones around you with respect, courtesy and compassion.

Still looking for other ways to improve your spring involvement on campus? We are always looking for fresh faces to contribute new ideas to The Odyssey! Whether you want to write or just want to get involved, we want to hear from you! We offer a great work environment, community service hours and great resume builders. We've been working on our own resolutions, and we want you to get involved. We've made a few changes to the paper, so look out for better articles, more house involvement, and our newest section called The MANual, with everything you fratstars could want to know. Think you've got what it takes to put your two cents into The MANual? Apply to write for it, so you can tell the rest of the Greek community about your best guy stories and tricks of the trade.

From all of us here at The Odyssey, we wish you the best of luck this upcoming semester. Have fun, stay safe, and study hard!
