My Friend Brian... and Brody and Matthew
There are times in life when you can look at a situation or activity you've just partaken in and say, "Wow, that was a good time." Well we all enjoy good times, but what's better than a good time is a "special memory." When you add my dear friend and pledge brother Brian Holden to the crew, that good time is guaranteed to become a special memory. I first met Brian Holden way back in the good old days of preschool. This little factoid wasn't brought to our attention until spring break of last year when my beautiful mother noticed this man Brian looked quite familiar. She figured it out pretty quickly, not really sure how, but she found our old preschool composite and sure enough there we were. "I recognize that comb over," Brother Brian chimed in, and a recognizable comb over it is indeed. Recognizable and special. Only a little later was it also brought to our attention that Brian and I were born in the same hospital on the same day at the same time. Not really though, but the preschool part is true. Anyway, what's not great about Brian? He's got a great flow that couldn't be tamed by any headbands, he's a hardworking management expert who's never gotten lower than an A in a class DURING HIS ENTIRE EXISTENSE. He's a deeeecent man. Speaking of deeecent men, Brody John Kelly, North Andover, MA, Management. Whammy. What a good fella. He's one hell of a fighter and an excellent mathematician and physicist. Straight Calc 3 to the dome, does all the work in his head and doesn't even break a sweat. Truly an Alpha Male. AND speaking of Alpha Males, Matthew Jedediah "Cool guy" Cooley. Boom goes the dynamite, this young guy is an important individual. First of all, he's basically a teacher. Secondly, he can lift super heavy objects with his brute man force. Third, well, if I continue with this list it's not going to end so I'll just leave it at that. Three bros among many out there that I call my pledge brothers, shout out BTP Fall '10. Plain and simple, big things are being done by these young men and without a doubt the first man on Mars will be Ben "The Preacher" Kaufman, and down the road a ways Grant Hoover will be the president of the extremely United States of America. Tune in for my next article, I'll be doing a movie review of the new film Titanic, starring Leo DiCaprio or however you spell it and that red headed lady. SPOILER ALERT: The ship hits an iceberg and sinks in the end. I know what you're thinking, and believe me, I didn't see that one coming either. One love, stay up, and keep on keeping it real.
