TFM- Total Fantasy Move

Addison Moreno
Phi Kappa Tau

Dear TFM followers,

I’m sad to say that the end of the fantasy season is upon us. It has been a wild ride, but now it’s time for the real playoffs to begin. I hope you all rocked your leagues and that my ramblings have done you some good over the past few weeks. Looking back there were a lot of guys that stepped up and made their names known this year. Guys like A.J. Green, Demarco Murray and Andy Dalton; all had breakout rookie seasons and will surely be fantasy relevant for many years to come. Superstars like Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson and Aaron Rodgers have all shined like guiding beacons of Light, leading fantasy teams and their owners to countless victories.

I hope Fantasy Football has provided the perfect escape from everything you wanted to get away from. I hope this year was as entertaining for you as it was for me, I hope you know someone who was “trade raped” (hopefully not you), I hope you won by “vulturing” a touchdown from your opponent's player, I hope you beat someone by two points when they had a 25-point breakout player on the bench and a stud on their starting roster that laid a “goose egg.”

I hope you over exaggerated every victory and had an excuse for every loss. I hope your fraternity brothers and friends have to endure your bragging and gloating until one minute before next year's draft, and most of all, I hope you all enjoyed this game of Fantasy Football. It’s guys like you that have taken the best and most exciting sport in this great country, and managed to raise it to a whole new level of awesome.

For all those countless hours spent in class and at the bars messing with your fantasy app, for the nights you pulled an all-nighter for a test or  paper only to realize at 3 a.m. that your answers are not located on Rotowire and ESPN.com. For all the stories your girlfriend told you that you don’t remember because you were “rosterbating.” It’s the guys like you that have turned this small fad into an American phenomenon; and for that I salute you, random reader. You have helped make all this possible, and I hope you continue to do this for many years to come. Good luck gentlemen, and God Bless.

Sincerely,

Your Resident Fantasy Guru
