1. Take your body weight. Divide by two. Drink that number in ounces of water everyday. Get a Nalgene bottle or a Camelback, or even just reuse a disposable bottle!

2. Start sleeping more! You should be getting eight hours. Pop a melatonin, turn off the technology, and get some good sleep.

3. Do calf raises at work! If you have a few spare seconds, do some calf raises or stretches! Throw in a few lunges too while no one's looking. A little goes a long way!

4. You burn more calories when you stand than when you sit!

5. Park further away and take the stairs! Or better yet, walk there! If it's two miles or less away, pave out an extra hour and walk there and back instead of driving!

6. Get a pair of running shoes that are comfortable and that you like! You're going to wear them more if they feel better and you're comfortable with how you look.

7. Running? Get the Nike+ Running app! It tracks your runs, your GPS, and even allows you to manually add treadmill runs. It also has a coach function for training!

8. Stop drinking. Well, start drinking water, stop drinking everything else! Cut the coffee, tea, alcohol, and soda for a month. Replace all that extra stuff with – you guessed it – more water!

9. No extra cash for the gym? No problem! Go to your local high school after work and walk or run around the track and up and down the bleachers!

10. Join your local community center! They usually have a gym and super cheap membership rates!

11. Start doing 25 crunches every night before bed. It may take you about a minute or two. Then up it to 50! 75, 100, 125 – hey, nice six-pack!

12. Get books on tape for your ipod or phone! Audible by Amazon has a great membership that offers you an audiobook every month! Walk around the neighborhood, on the treadmill, or go for a walk! While you're stimulating your mind you can be exercising your body as well!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
