Work is defined as an activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. Like it or not, work is what our weeks consist of, sometimes the good, sometimes the bad, and sometimes the fun. Spongebob, with his busy job making the perfect Krabby Patty for the Krusty Krab knows all about the things that we "regular" civilians endure during the week. He also knows how to live it up in the wild city of Bikini Bottom on the weekends. So kick it back and let Spongebob translate the week for you:

Monday

Looking at all the work that has to be done for the week. Realizing you should have done some of it this weekend instead of obsessing over what party to go to and who would be there (queue uncontrollable laughter to hold back the tears, since you're in public). Praying there will be enough coffee to get you through the week.

Tuesday

Taking a deep breath, walking into office hours, going to ask for an extension…again. Praying this time you don't get called about the fact that you actually didn't go to your sister's wedding, dog's funeral or neighbor's baby shower and that you actually enjoyed your weekend.

Wednesday

At this point in the week, you may or may not be dead. You are also running strictly on caffeine and fast food. You realize that the only possible way you will make it out of this week alive is to hope that "bae" (a.k.a. the delivery boy or your roommate) brings you chocolate, wine, ice cream, pizza, tacos, more wine, bacon and more wine.

Thursday

At this point of the week, you're pretty delusional, but you can see the light. This day involves loud singing, dancing around the apartment and random glimmers of happiness. You know the worst is over, and you only have to make it one more day until the weekend!

Friday

Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday… you can't help but do a little dance in your chair knowing that in less than eight hours you will be having the time of your life with your friends at your favorite bar (and even better, eating pizza at 2 a.m.).

Saturday

Waking up, not sure if you are dead or just need water. Slowly, you crawl into your roommate's bed and discuss for the next three hours if that cute boy from last night is going to text you or not, and if you should text back if he does.

Sunday

The week is over, and it has had its ups and downs. You realize that life isn't bad, and you're ready to start the hectic week all over again. Time to enjoy some quality Netflix and popcorn with your BFF.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
