1. WhatsApp
WhatsApp is a messaging app that is linked to your phone number, meaning that all your contacts will already be contacts on WhatsApp. Therefore, you don't have to add people by username. In this app, you can create chat groups and share pictures and videos with no problems. The latest update lets you call your contacts through your WiFi, even if they don't live in the same country you live in. In fact, you won't spend any minutes, and you don't need any signal to communicate with your friends all around the world.
2. Instagram
I mean, who doesn't have Instagram?
3. Vine
You should know what Vine is. Just in case you don't, it is a video sharing app—mostly used to share funny videos. That is why, when you get bored, this is the perfect time killer. Believe me, you will laugh and have a good time.
4. Yik Yak

5. Drop Messages
This new app is great to see what is going around you and your campus. This is how it works: you take a picture of what you are doing and drop it anywhere you want—when someone approaches that place you dropped the picture at, he/she will have found your drop, no matter if you are friends or you are not following each other. For example, you can be walking around your apartment complex and suddenly you find a drop saying there is a party at some apartment, and if you find the drop, you are invited. You're welcome.
6. Pandora
Pandora is just great. It's the perfect way to listen to any kind of music for free.

9. Snapchat
Now with Snapchat you will not only see what your friends post on their "stories," but you can also witness major events around the world. For example: music festivals, award shows and holidays around the globe have been watched through the app. The latest update lets you watch updates from companies like CNN, Comedy Central and ESPN.
10. Facebook
Some people use it, some people don't. The truth is that it will never get too old. Nowadays, a lot of people use Facebook to share interesting articles and videos, like the ones from The Odyssey. That is enough of a reason for me to have it on my phone.
11. Once
If you have tried and liked Tinder, you will love this new app. Once has a crazy system that matches you with the perfect "matches." I don't really know how it works, but it is awesome.
12. PlayTube
This app is just like YouTube, but instead, you can close the app and the music will keep playing. Therefore, you can use this app while texting, using your GPS, or any other app, and your music won't stop.

You can transfer money from your bank account immediately using Venmo, and there is no fee! Plus, you don't need any bank information from the other person, all you need is his/her phone number. Transferring money has never been easier!
15. Drunk Mode
This is a great app that works perfectly for when you are out drinking with your friends. It shows where you have been and where your drunk buddies are. Also, it won't let you text or call people that are not in your "safe" list. Cheers to having no regrets in the morning.
