Best Travel Tips

In college, you hear about all sorts of amazing trips other students are going on. Some travel to 16 different countries in three weeks, others spend a longer time studying abroad. They come back with so many great stories to share, leaving you wondering how in the world they acquired the money to go on these great trips?! Most college students live the luxury life of ramen and sweatpants. I've been told by many students that I can just get loans and pay it off later. Well, if I did that I don't think I'd ever get out of debt considering I want to travel pretty much everywhere. Others advise, "You can get great opportunities through traveling with a college group." But once again this leads back to if you have the money to travel in the first place. Also lets not forget that perfectly set up four year plan guaranteeing our graduation in four years. It is a tricky situation for a lot of college students. There should be cheaper and more options for students who wish to travel. This can broaden their ideas and help with education. Wanting to travel and go on trips is definitely a roller coaster of feels.

1) You get really happy when you find a trip you want to go on.

2) Then you see the price of how much it will cost.

3) And you realize you don't have that kind of money.

4) Unless you're rich and can pay out of pocket.

5) So you try to talk to your parents about the situation.

6) You really wish that people just gave money to college students for travel.

7) Oh, wait! They do! So you start pumping out essays, hoping to earn some grants from the school.

8) You think of other ways to help raise money such as t-shirt sales, bakes sales... anything at this point.

9) Realizing you're almost there, but still unsure if it's possible to go on the trip.

10) Then you finally figure it all out and realize you'll get to go on your dream trip.

11) And if not...

You'll have just as much fun on campus!

Until you raise enough money over the summer to finally go on that trip... hopefully.

12) Until you see your bank account.

13) So it's back to work you go.

14) And after all that work...

15) You can pay for the trip and pack your bags.

16) And you can finally enjoy your dream trip!

It may take a bit of time and work, but with persistence you can achieve your dreams!
