1. Aesthetics
The picture speaks for itself. The corn’s effortless flow shows how it has its business together much more than Trump’s attempt at taming whatever is taking flight from his head.
2. Corn is not a hypocrite
“Rosie O’Donnell’s disgusting both inside and out. You take a look at her, she’s a slob. She talks like a truck driver, she doesn’t have her facts, she’ll say anything that comes to her mind…..I mean she’s basically a disaster.”
Okay, I understand that Rosie O’Donnell is not the pinnacle of excellence in television, but it is not okay for a grown man to throw out catty insults that greatly resemble those of a middle school bully. Also, basically every point he used against O’Donnell can be said about Mr. Trump himself. Corn would never call another ear rotten just to get higher in the garden; its just not how things work.
3. Social Media Presence
Trump’s twitter is the only twitter of a prominent media figure and now Presidential Candidate that legitimately sounds like Trump is writing everything. Unless he hired an angsty thirteen year old to control his twitter account, I don’t see how any other adult could think of the overly aggressive tweets Trump is known for. For example, Trump’s favorite insult is loser, which in the grand scheme of insults is not that bad, but it shows how immature and easily defensive Trump gets. Do we really want someone who calls everyone who doesn't agree with him “losers”? What’s next? Is he going to tweet other political powers that they’re losers and assume the issue is resolved? Corn would never do that. Corn is polite and respectful to everyone, even those who oppose it.
Besides just attacking O’Donnell, Trump has been known to attack prominent women in the most disrespectful, sexist way possible. One such incident is when Trump went after media star Arianna Huffington, co-founder and Editor in Chief at Huffington Post, tweeting that she is “unattractive both inside and out.” and went on to make further sexist (and just generally rude) remarks about Huffington. And, we cannot forget the infamous deleted retweet about Hillary Clinton- "If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America.” Corn is not always beautiful once you peel back its layers but it does not advertise to be anything that it isn’t.
The if you check the Instagram hashtags #corn and #donaldtrump, the pictures say it all. #Corn shows over one million tags of the many beautiful and fruitful products that come from the veggie. #donaldtrump is a meager 112,000 and is mostly pictures of him next to cats or pictures bashing the Presidential candidate.
4. Climate Change
What Trump has said about global warming and climate change further show how money does not exactly mean educated. Some quotes by Trump on climate change include: “NBC News just called it the great freeze - coldest weather in years. Is our country still spending money on the GLOBAL WARMING HOAX?” and “Any and all weather events are used by the GLOBAL WARMING HOAXSTERS to justify higher taxes to save our planet! They don't believe it $$$$!” These not only show that Trump does not understand and does not care to understand what climate change is, but that he thinks that natural disasters are a scam to increase taxes. Also it seems that he is implying that scientists have some sort of weather machine like in a Disney Channel movie that can whip up snowstorms whenever they feel like ruining Mr. Trump’s day. Although corn is yellow, it thinks green. Corn is no expert on climate change but it feels first hand the effects and would probably side with the “hoaxsters” aka scientists who are trying to help our planet.
Overall, corn brings people together with little controversy and great happiness, healthiness and satisfaction which is what makes for a great leader. Trump’s campaign shows no sign of slowing down it is important to keep in mind what he has said and done as opposed to his media presence.
