There comes a time in every student’s life when you feel overwhelmed, you're not sure about your major and you're in need of some reassurance. Being away from home can be tough, especially in times of crisis. Your friends and family are always a great support system when you need that second opinion about something, but no one can truly put you at ease like God can. God’s words of life always give you the extra boost and motivation to push forward and succeed. When you face a difficult challenge in life, do not fear, simply listen to God and what he has in store for you.
When you experience conflict:
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome with good.” Romans 12:21
In times of disappointment:
“When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other.” Ecclesiastes 7:14
When you need encouragement:
“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.” Proverbs 12:25
When it’s hard to forgive:
“Forgive as the LORD forgave you.” Colossians 3:13
Through hard times in friendship:
“A friend loves at all times.” Proverbs 17:17
When frustration takes over:
“A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.” Psalm 34:19
When all you need is some guidance:
“The LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6
When times get hard, it seems easiest to just run away from all your worries, but the Lord will always help us get through them. Always remember, “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him” Nahum 1:7. There will always be someone who is experiencing the same problems you are. Talking to them and taking a second to thank God for your many blessings will help you push through.
