5 Must Try Brunch Spots in Fayetteville

Breakfast and Lunch = Brunch. Fayetteville is full of unique and tasty dining places and some of my favorites are best known for their brunch. Below are five must-try brunch spots that are full of character. Each one is fairly affordable and extremely yummy.

1. Arsaga’s Depot

The same menu is served all day, but brunch is by far the prime time to go. With dishes ranging from fresh salads to savory crepes, there are enough options for everyone. Their food is fresh and delicious. The Atlas crepe is a must try. The walls are filled with local art that is for sale and their drink menu (coffee & alcoholic) is extensive. Sitting right off the railroad on Dickson St., the deck offers great scenery.

2. Farmer’s Table Café

This is a popular spot post church on Sundays that gets very crowded, but it is worth the wait. On a chalkboard, Farmer’s Table Café lists where each of their ingredients are from (always local farms around NWA) and is considered a "farm-to-table." Their mimosas are wonderful and every single dish promises satisfaction. The atmosphere is so friendly and quaint.

3. Little Bread Company

This hidden gem is right off the square and serves amazing breakfast and lunch. The croissants are melt-in-your-mouth-incredible and the sandwiches are bursting with flavor. On a pretty day, it’s the perfect place to have a brunch outside.

4. Table on the Hill

Table on the Hill is a tavern style restaurant promising the best Latin cuisine. Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and offers drinks, sweets and plates. Don’t let the word "latin" stray you away from this brunch spot — the latin components make the omelets and breakfast burritos some of the best in Fayetteville.

5. Rolling Pin Café

If you’re craving some classic southern home cooking — this is the place. Husband and wife owned, the duo serves everyone’s favorites to perfection. Do not leave this place without trying a buttery roll!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
