Scary Good Halloween Movies And Episodes On Netflix This Season

I don't know about you, but watching Halloween themed movies and shows has always been my favorite thing to do in October. So here are some scary-good films and shows to get you in the Halloween spirit!

1. American Horror Story

American Horror Story is not only freaky - it's also freaky good. The cast is stupendous, and what makes them even greater is the fact that each season, the actors have to take up a totally different role (which is extremely challenging). The plots are also intriguing and they hook you at the end of each episode - hence, it's binge-worthy. Currently there are 4 seasons on Netflix, and they all have great reviews according to Rotten Tomatoes:

2. Bob's Burgers Halloween Episodes

If you are one for strange humor or cheesy puns, then you should definitely check Bob's Burgers out.... or if you're already a fan, then you should just watch these two episodes again! I promise you, they will make you feel the Halloween spirit!

Season 3, Episode 2: Full Bars. The kids go to the rich neighborhood to go trick-or-treating, in the hopes of full bars, while Bob and Linda go to a party that turns into a murder mystery.

Season 4, Episode 2: Fort Night. A crazed little girl traps the kids in their fort on Halloween because Louise refuses to be her friend.

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is a classic that was beautifully animated and created by Tim Burton. If you have never seen it, please make a point to watch it this Halloween! And everyone hail to the pumpkin king!

4. The Omen

People commit suicide for this little boy, and scary things keep happening when he's around. Could the American Ambassador be raising the anti-christ? You'll just have to find out for yourself!

5. Friends Halloween Episode

Need some laughs and some costume ideas for this Halloween? Well, The One With The Halloween Party is the obvious choice!

Season 8, Episode 6: The One With The Halloween Party. Chandler and Monica decide to throw a Halloween party. Phoebe's evil twin sister, Ursula shows up and starts stirring up some drama, while Rachel attempts to win over children by handing out money when they run out of candy.

6. The Corpse Bride

Another Tim Burton Halloween classic, filled with music, creative characters and a sweet yet, complex romance. Also, Johnny Depp is the main character's voice, so you know it's going to be good.

7. Sleepy Hollow

Johnny Depp's dashing good looks aren't the only thing that make this movie great. The film takes a spin on a timeless Halloween tale by infusing it with and even creepier plot, along with remarkable cinematography.

8. Parks and Rec Halloween Episode

What's more fun than Parks and Rec and Halloween? Nothing. So go and watch these Halloween specials!

Season 2, Episode 7: Greg Pikitis. Leslie tries to stop the evil Greg Pikitis - the high school kid that successfully manages to vandalize the park every Halloween, despite Leslie's valiant efforts to stop him. Also, Ann's Halloween party is a bore until Tom brings the party to the party.

Season 5, Episode 5: Halloween Surprise. Ron and Andy take Diane's children trick-or-treating, while Leslie get's some bad news from Ben that diminishes her Halloween spirit.

9. The Babadook

If you're looking for a good scare, look no further than the Babadook! But just a forewarning: you may have to go to bed with the lights on.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
