We have all seen them, they are shared on YouTube and Facebook by every teenage and twenty-something girl on a daily basis.

No, I am not talking about the cute videos of puppies and babies, I am talking about wedding proposals.

But these aren’t just any wedding proposals, these are the ones done in big arenas with 100s of 1000s of their closest stangers rooting on the couple.

So to all those boys who see their girlfriends sharing these videos, take some notes because clearly she is dropping hints.

First Pitch Proposal

Melissa Dohme was told she was going to be throwing out the first pitch at a Tampa Bay baseball game, but she had no clue that her boyfriend, Cameron Hill, had something more special involved.

After a tragedy brought Dohme and her firefighter boyfriend together he got the nerve to get down on one knee and ask the big question. Some may think this is cheesy, but who wouldn’t want to have a big proposal like that?

Air Force Captain Proposes to NFL Cheerleader

When U.S. Air Force Captain, Eric Straub recently returned from the Middle East, he was ready to propose to his NFL cheerleader girlfriend, Claire. Straub interrupted a Cardinal's football game while the cheer team was preforming to pop the big question.

Luvabull Proposal

Everyone has seen it for almost two years now, and I do not think anyone can top this. When your girlfriend is a cheerleader for an NBA team of course you have to have some kind of big proposal. On December 5, 2013 Shane Zackery had Chicago Bulls cheerleader clueless when he popped out of an inflatable Benny, the Bull mascot suit, to ask his girlfriend to marry him.The cheerleader had no idea what was going on during the third-quarter timeout, thinking it was just a normal dance routine like every other home game. Little did she know this routine was one she would never forget.

UGA Football Player Pops The Question

Now if we would have lost to UGA, I don’t know if I would be writing about this proposal, but how could I not? It’s your classic story of two people meeting and falling in love young, and end up being together for years after.

Jake Ganus, Georgia’s senior linebacker proposed to girlfriend of six years, Peyton Thomas, on the 50-yard line after their big win over South Carolina. The proposal was recorded and posted online and ever since then it has gone viral. Now dating someone on a football team is pretty cool, but dating someone on a football team and then getting proposed to after on the field is even cooler.

Boys, I hope you took some good notes because clearly these guys know how to ask a girl to marry to them. And ladies, you along with every other girl who goes to the University of Alabama would love to be proposed to on the field of Bryant-Denny Stadium, but let’s be real that’s a long shot.

So all we can do now is live through these amazing proposals, and just hope one day ours will be as big as these lucky ladies.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
